TESTAMONIAL: I'll start by saying that my son's fifth birthday party at the Acton Bowladrome was a fantastic experience.
When my wife and I asked our son what he wanted to do for his birthday, he answered that he wanted to have a party at the bowling alley. So I contacted Zack at Acton Bowladrome to coordinate a date and time. After scheduling the party Zack essentially told me to just show up with my son and they would take care of the rest.
And they did just that. Talk about easy, convenient and fun! As the kids showed up they were given bowling shoes and assigned to a lane. The gutter bumpers ensured that the five year olds consistently knocked down pins and a great time was had by all.
While the kids were bowling, Zack coordinated lunch for all the kids. As soon as the kids finished, he and his staff served lunch to all the kids. Then the kids were issued arcade game cards (which are included as part of the party package) and they went off to play for a while.
Finally, after playing arcade games the kids returned to the dining area where an ice cream cake was waiting for my son and his friends.
All-in-all, it was a fantastic, fun-filled two hour experience for the kids, and it was an almost stress free, easy and convenient experience for my wife and I. Zack and his staff were polite, professional, and attentive. He did a great job of juggling/coordinating everything which freed up my wife and I to enjoy our son's birthday party. And the price was an incredibly reasonable $140 for ten kids. This included the bowling, pizza - even the pizza for the parents, arcade games and ice cream cake. Last year we spent more money to rent a bounce-house for my son's birthday than we spent to have the Acton Bowladrome host the entire birthday party.
If you have a child who likes to bowl and you're considering the Acton Bowladrome, I can't stress enough how great an experience we had working with them.
